Pesca Recreativa y deportiva en Puerto Vallarta

Les quiero platicar acerca de la pesca deportiva aqui en Puerto Vallarta, en lo personal soy un aficionado a este deporte y con gusto les comparto la siguiente informacion:

¿Que se pesca en la bahía y fuera de la bahía aqui en Puerto Vallarta?

Dentro de la bahía hemos sacado Pez Vela, Dorado, Atún, Toros, Sierra, Bonita, Albacora y de vez en cuando pero no muy seguido, Wahoo y Marlin, todas estas especies en tamaños medianos, es decir para sacar peces grandes definitivamente hay que salir fuera de la bahia, desde las Islas Marietas pasando por el morro hasta la roca, tambien conocida como "La Corbeteña".

Los records registrados en el Torneo de Pesca de Puerto Vallarta, son en Marlin 322 kgs. en Pez Vela 70 kgs y en Atún 176 kgs, en Dorado no tengo el dato pero debe de andar entre los 27 y 28 kgs.

Por cierto cada mes de Noviembre se celebra el Torneo Internacional de Pesca de Puerto Vallarta, uno de los torneos de pesca mas consolidados de nuestro país y que se celebra desde hace mas de 58 años aqui en el puerto.

Tenemos tambien un Torneo local que se llama "Torneo de la Playa de Los Muertos" que se realiza justo antes del Torneo oficial del destino (Tambien en Noviembre), bastante divertido donde al término del mismo restaurantes locales cocinan a las brazas los pescados del torneo y se comparte con la comunidad que se reune para este evento, convirtiendose en una gran verbena popular.

¿Con quién hay que ir a pescar?

Les voy a dar mis recomedaciones, primero, si estas en busca de una experiencia a nivel local te recomiendo que busques a Chipol Guzman, la pesca y la diversion dentro de la bahía estan garantizadas!, Chipol es nativo de Mismaloya y conoce cada rincón de la bahia, con el podras sacar Atún, Dorado, Pez Vela e incluso te puede sacar pescado de fondo como Huchinango, Lunareja o Mojarra, los cuales el mismo te cocinará en alguna playa privada del sur de la bahía, ensartados en vara y azados a la leña, lo tienes que vivir!

 

Si vas en busca de un pez grande entonces te recomiendo que contactes a Mike Tejeda, el es propietario de la compañia de charters Mikes Fishing, cuenta con una excelente flotilla de Yates y un gran equipo de marinos tambien expertos en la pesca dentro de la bahia y en mar abierto, con Mike's Fishing puedes ir en busca de un buen pez vela, un atun de mas de 80 kgs o un Marlin por arriba de los 200 kgs.

 

¿Y después de Pescar?

Te recomiendo que llames al restaurante Le Kliff, les comentas que fuiste de pesca y que sacaste dorado, atun, pez vela o lo que hayas pescado, haces tu reservación y por un precio fijo por persona te cocinan tu pescado en este increible restaurante frente al mar al sur de Puerto Vallarta!

Programa del Festival de día de muertos en Puerto Vallarta 2014...

26 de octubre al 02 de noviembre, Puerto Vallarta hará gala de las tradiciones mexicanas con el Festival de Día de Muertos, que este año contará con un extenso programa de actividades como concursos, verbenas populares, desfiles y música.

Este es el programa:

Dependencias del gobierno municipal y organizaciones ciudadanas unifican esfuerzos para convertir al centro de la ciudad en un lugar de reunión y celebración vecinal, con una exposición de 45 altares en el interior de la presidencia municipal, hoteles y puntos estratégicos de la ciudad.

Además de disfrutar del colorido y creatividad de cada uno de estos altares, se desarrollará una dinámica en la que los vallartenses que los visiten todos, recibirán un cuadernillo tipo pasaporte que será sellado y podrán depositar en una urna ubicada en el Mercado del Río Cuale, lo que les permitirá participar en diversas rifas.

De igual manera, se hace extensiva la convocatoria a los habitantes del municipio, especialmente a escuelas, a participar en el “Concurso de la Catrina”, confeccionando la famosa figura representativa de la muerte. Los premios serán de cinco, tres y dos mil pesos a los tres primeros lugares, respectivamente.

Las festividades inician con las “Verbenas Populares”. Cada día de la semana, en una calle distinta, habrá degustación típica, decorado de casas y música con artistas locales.

Los puntos de la ciudad donde se presentarán estas verbenas itinerantes son: la calle Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez (lunes 27), Abasolo (Martes 28), Aldama (Miércoles 29), Corona (Jueves 30), Galena (Viernes 31), parque Lázaro Cárdenas (1 de noviembre) y culminan ese mismo día en los arcos del malecón, con la presentación del Ballet de Escuelas Técnicas de Michoacán, a las 20:00 horas.

El domingo 2 de Noviembre a las 17:00 horas, se efectuará la caravana “Viva la Muerte”, en la que participaran familias de charros, batucada y el Ballet Xiutla, que harán un recorrido de la calle Belice a su cruce con San Salvador, hasta las instalaciones del Mercado Municipal del Cuale, donde culminará el Festival del Día de Muertos con la presentación del intérprete de música vernácula, Francisco Robles, así como la premiación de los altares y las catrinas.

20 Festival Gourmet de Puerto Vallarta 2014 - Noviembre 13 al 23

Del 13 al 23 de Noviembre de 2014, se celebran los primeros 20 años de la fiesta Gourmet más importante de México, un festival que ha reunido durante estos 20 años a la crema y nata de la cocina gourmet del mundo!

Information and paperwork for a legal wedding in Puerto Vallarta, México

In my experience as a wedding coordinator I want to share this information of how to complete the paperwork for a legal wedding for US and Canadian Citizens in Puerto Vallarta.

USA CITIZENS

The Civil Ceremony:

The only marriage performed in Mexico, that is legally valid in your country is the civil ceremony, performed by the justice of the peace of the Civil Registry office of Puerto Vallarta. The civil ceremony can take place in the office of the Civil Registry or at the location of your wedding. 

The civil ceremony follows the Minister's ceremony with the legal signing of the marriage contract. The ceremony is 15 minutes and is presented in Spanish by the Judge from the Civil Registry office. The ceremony is translated. To have a civil ceremony in Mexico you must acquire documents from your registry department where you were born and send them to us so we can begin the process. 

To make it easier for you, we send you simple instructions to guide you step by step.

The Requirements:

Birth certificates WITH APOSTILLE

AN APOSTILLE is the authentication of a public officials signature and once the signature is verified an APOSTIL or Certification is placed on the document stating that the signature has been authenticated. (divorce or widow certificates requires APOSTILLE if applicable), for more information www.apostilla.com

Witnesses ... You require only two witnesses in the state of Jalisco. (witnesses can be friends or family members but not parents and must be over 18 and be present at the ceremony in Puerto Vallarta with their original Id's in order to sign the marriage certificate) If necessary I can act as witnesses for you.

Blood Tests ...
A simple blood test is required in Vallarta and have to be done after your arrival to Puerto Vallarta  and have the tests printed 24 hours before the wedding date. The blood test looks for factor and blood type only. There are no other examinations necessary. 

The costs and what is Included ...
The civil ceremony package includes the processing of all your documentation here in Mexico so everything is all arranged when you arrive. You pay for 2 birth certificate translations, 2 signature fees, 1 Marriage certificate and translation, blood tests & health certificates, video briefing, fees and transportation for official.

Average Costs – U$D 400 - 650.00
Plus (if applicable) – U$D 50.00 translation fee per additional translation of divorce decree, death certificate or name change certificate.

The Judge are booking future dates quickly and the next calendar is starting to fill up, so it would be advised to reserve the time and date for each or either as soon as possible. Dates for December and high season months, February, March, April and May are generally booked faster. 

The Judge can perform ceremonies at many local establishments and may go to remote locations for an organized excursion wedding, but charge considerably more for time and travel expenses.

To reserve a date for the civil Judge, we require a 50% deposit to proceed with any arrangements.

Documents must be sent to us here in Puerto Vallarta at least 30 days before the wedding date. Always FedEx or DHL your documents to Mexico.

CANADIAN CITIZENS

Le Kliff, el romance, la vista y la buena comida frente al mar en Puerto Vallarta

Restaurante Le Kliff es uno de esos lugares especiales para celebrar, sus terrazas y rincones rodeados del mar y la montaña hacen de este restaurante un favorito de aquellos que buscan un momento especial en pareja, con amigos o una cena familiar.

 

Le Kliff esta situado a 30 minutos al sur del centro de Puerto Vallarta en carro, a solo 5 minutos pasando por la famosa playa de Mismaloya y a solo 3 minutos antes de la playa de Boca de tomatlán.

Presenta una cocina Internacional a base de mariscos y platillos con una influencia local, el Chef cuenta con un pequeño espacio donde cultiva sus propias hierbas finas como albahaca, hierbabuena (menta), perejil, tomillo, romero, etre otras; acompaña al menu una pequeña cava con vinos maridados de diferentes regiones de México, Chile, Estados Unidos, Francia y España.

Le Kliff es el lugar especial para celebrar un cumpleaños, un aniversario, cena de luna de miel, una rica cena entre amigas e incluso entregar el anillo de compromiso.

El restaurante esta construido sobre un alcantilado frente al mar, con terrazas en 4 niveles diferentes desde donde ofrece vistas a la Bahia de banderas desde practicamente todas sus mesas, sin embargo les sugiero RESERVAR con anticipación puesto que mas cerca del mar su mesa, mejor es la vista y la experiencia.

 

La hermosa locación de este restaurante lo han hecho uno de los espacio más exclusivos para celebrar bodas frente al mar no nada mas en Puerto Vallarta sino en México, mi mas amplia recomendación para este lugar como locación de bodas y banquetes.
